10:24 a.m. Saturday — Police suspect Rastis O. Marcy, 36, of Butler was impaired by a smorgasbord of drugs when they found him on the porch of a home not his in the 200 block of Fourth Street.The home's occupant notified authorities to report a man on her side porch. The stranger was nodding off, and she thought he may be overdosing on drugs.When police got there, the suspect, later identified as Marcy, sat up suddenly causing at least one officer to draw his gun. Marcy appeared under the influence, according to a police report.While being taken to the station, Marcy told police that in the past 24 hours he had smoked marijuana, drank alcohol and consumed the anti-anxiety drugs benzodiazepine and Klonopin, the attention-deficit disorder drug Adderall, the narcotic methadone and the synthetic heroin substitute Suboxone.Police cited him for public drunkenness.

2:18 Tuesday — Dawn Holuba, 36, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Morton Avenue and McQuistion Road.1:24 a.m. July 21 — Wayne Elliott, 56, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on South Benbrook Road near the Route 422 overpass.July 7 — Melanie J. Provost, 36, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after she crashed her vehicle on Meridian Road

2:33 a.m. Saturday — Christopher Anthony, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped in a car with its headlights on at Hansen and Goldwood avenues in Butler.Saturday — A thief made off with a 10 gallon gas can and the fuel from a 5-gallon gas can at a home on Grant Avenue in East Butler. The property, taken between July 19 and Saturday, is valued at $50.Saturday — A vandal between midnight and 7 a.m. damaged a mailbox at a home on Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township.Tuesday — A thief stole camping equipment from the Rock Falls Campground in Slippery Rock Township. The unspecified property, owned by a 30-year-old Butler man, was taken between July 20 and Tuesday.

11:02 a.m. Sunday — Stephanie M. Yohe, no age given, of Parker was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Emlenton-Clintonville Road between the Cogo's convenience store and the Emlenton truck plaza in Scrubgrass Township.

9:40 p.m. Sunday — Police suspect a woman, who they did not identify, was impaired by alcohol and drugs when she drove to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with a 2-year-old girl in her car. The woman faces charges of drunken and drugged driving and child endangerment.9:39 p.m. Sunday — Larry A. Nulph, 53, of Worthington was arrested after allegedly trying to break into a 51-year-old woman's home on Walkchalk Road in East Franklin Township. The suspect and alleged victim know each other.Nulph was arraigned on charges of attempted burglary, attempted trespass, stalking and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.A police report noted that East Franklin Township police previously charged Nulph with harassment stemming from a June 24 incident with the same woman.1:05 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Mary L. Edinger, 61, of Freeport began to smoke after the vehicle ran over a piece of metal on Route 28 in Harrison Township. Allegheny County. Edinger pulled over and got out of the SUV uninjured.11:35 Thursday — A Worthington teenager was seriously hurt when he lost control of his car and crashed in East Franklin Township. The car hit a ditch and rolled over on Route 422.Cory R. Anthony, 18, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, with a “major injury.”Anthony blamed vehicle failure for the wreck. Police found evidence at the scene that corroborated the teen's claim. He was not charged.Wednesday — A thief stole about $60 in property from a car in the driveway of a home on Stewartson Road in Pine Township, Armstrong County. Police did not identify the suspect, who took the property between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

12:59 p.m. Saturday — An unknown black male passed a counterfeit $50 bill at the Famous Footwear store at Premium Outlets in Springfield Township.

8:51 a.m. Sunday — An Ohio woman was hurt when she swerved her car to avoid hitting the back of another vehicle and crashed into an embankment on Route 422 just west of Old Butler Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The car, driven by Haley I. Dustman, 21, of Lowellville, rolled over and ended on its roof.Dustman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Police said she was cited for careless driving.
