Digging baseball
Gacin Ellison, 7, of Butler works on the infield Thursday at the ballfield at Father Marinaro Park. A touring teenage baseball team led by Freeport native and Maryland resident Jeff Potter has been sprucing up the field the past two weeks. Potter and his players have weeded, mowed, painted and more with funding they raised on their own. He hopes to bring the team back in the fall to play some local teams.
