Brendan Malone went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and six RBI to lead Mars to a 13-1 defeat of Saxonburg in Eagle County League baseball play at Marburger Field on Monday.

Malone now leads the circuit in home runs with nine.

Mars (17-5-4) also received three hits and one RBI from John Tavares and a hit and RBI out of Brian Slavicek.

Jimmy Devine was the winning pitcher, striking out six in six innings.

Mars II 6, Cranberry Township 1 — Alex Ziegler singled twice and drove in three runs for Mars II.

Andy Onufrak tripled and scored a run and Eric King had two singles and two runs.

Josh Friel struck out six in six innings to earn the victory.

Dave Coradi singled twice and scored a run for Cranberry.
