Hiser, Evans
Kelly Hiser and Walker Evans, both of Worcester, Mass., were united in marriage June 21 at the home of the bridegroom’s parents in Newville.
The bride is the daughter of Jon and Mary Ann Hiser of Prospect. Parents of the bridegroom are Morgan and Mary Ann Evans of Newville.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She received a master’s degree in music from the University of Miami in 2009.
She is completing a doctoral degree in musicology.
The bridegroom graduated from Big Spring High School in 2001 and from Oberlin College in 2005. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2011 with a master’s degree in library science.
He is employed by Shrewsbury Public Library in Shrewsbury, Mass.
The couple is making their home in Worcester, Mass.
