Dump truck smashes into church in Zelienople

ZELIENOPLE — A dump truck ran into a church this morning, causing significant damage to Park United Presbyterian Church.

The truck first hit a power pole before hitting the church. The downed wires knocked out electrical service to customers of Penn Power in the borough, and extended as far as Robinson Industries in Harmony.

The church is on Grandview Avenue, also known as Route 68 East.
