JEFFERSON TWP — A new business manager has been hired for the South Butler School District.

The school board Wednesday night approved Tammi Kinzel to replace Debbie Brandstetter, who left the position to become business manager for the Butler School District.

Kinzel, a Butler area native, will have a five-year contract and an initial salary of $93,000 a year.

Kinzel has worked at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for 20 years in the business division. Her current position was the assistant director of finance.

She received her bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University, and her master’s from Waynesburg College.

She likely will begin her new position in early August.

Kinzel lives in Cranberry Township with her son.

The board also approved for Brandstetter to train Kinzel in the position.
