Ryan 65th anniversary
Charles F. and Dorothy G. Ryan of Worthington celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington. The event was sponsored by Don't Stop Dreamin' and their family.
Ryan married the former Dorothy Grace Young on June 25, 1949, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
They have 11 children, Darlene Geibel of Chicora, Charles D. Ryan of Chicora, Dennis B. Ryan of Fenelton, Brenda J. Werner of Chicora, Marsha K. Sanders of Grove City, Ohio, Lisa M. Wahler of Butler, Bradley M. Ryan of Butler, JoeDee A. Ryan of Chicora, Todd S. Ryan of Chicora, Amy B. Spatig of Butler and the late Jeffrey A. Ryan.
They also have 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Ryan was a foreman in the paint department at Pullman Standard and also worked for Butler Area Transit.
He is a member of Chicora VFW and Chicora American Legion.
Mrs. Ryan is a housewife. She is a member of Christian Mothers of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Chicora.
The Ryans are members of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
