Daniel Carey
I have to admit that I was a Daddy’s Girl and always will be.
Dad you told me you loved me better than anything else in the world.
When I became a woman you walked me down the isle, and gave me away with a bitter sweet smile.
And when I had my little girl (Babybear) you were there to greet her and say “I love you.”
And now that you have gone where I can’t reach you. I feel very grateful for all your love that I received.
I am looking up today and trust that Daddy you’re looking down at me.
I would normally be puzzled on what to buy for you today because it’s your 60th birthday. I know what you would say “It’s just another day.” but to me Daddy it’s not. I wish you were here with me.
I still love you Daddy.
Happy Birthday!
