Thursday — Dennis Loester, 63, reported someone stole about 30 CDs, a book and a gym bag from his unlocked vehicle parked outside his Hooker Road home in Concord Township.June 17 — Ricki L. Double, 30, of Lyndora was charged with forgery, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception after allegedly buying $2,300 worth of items with stolen credit cards.Police said Double stole Boscov's and JC Penny credit cards from the Alameda Road home of Mary Steinbeck, 84, in Butler Township and used the cards at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.

8:42 p.m. June 27 — Two people were flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh after the motorcycle they were riding struck a deer on Margaret Road in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County.Gregory K. McClafferty, 38, of Kittanning and Codi E. Milligan, 35, of McGrann, Pa., both sustained major head injuries after the Harley Davidson Sportser hit the animal.Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

11:06 a.m. Friday — A Mercer County man was killed Friday after his vehicle struck a driveway culvert along Kinsman Road in Greene Township, Mercer County. Police say Clifton L. Erb III, 45, of Jamestown lost control of his vehicle before striking the culvert. The impact caused his vehicle to roll over at least one time, ejecting him from the driver's seat.Erb was not wearing a seat belt.He was taken to UPMC Greenville where he was pronounced dead.
