Adams Twp. man gets service award
WARRENDALE — Murli Iyer, executive adviser -global for SAE International, has earned the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies Recognition of Service Award for 2014. The award is for exemplary service and/or professional leadership to the organization. Iyer of Adams Township was honored for his dedication and commitment to the federation over the years. He received the award at the federation's June 5 dinner at the Hostellerie La Butte aux Bois in Lanken, Belgium. This is a federation of the engineering societies in 37 countries that exchange technical knowledge on vehicle design and manufacture.
First National hires Seven Fields man
HERMITAGE, Mercer County — First National Bank of Pennsylvania has hired Michael A. Myers as vice president and enterprise risk management administrator. Myers of Seven Fields has more than 10 years of industry experience and is a certified internal auditor. Before coming to First National, he worked for Protiviti, GNC, and BNY Mellon. Most recently, he was senior advisory services consultant for Highmark Health Services in Pittsburgh. A Bucknell University graduate, Myers and his wife, Laura, have three children.
Safety manager earns certification
ZELIENOPLE — S. Andrew Wright, manager of safety, industrial hygiene and training for Core Compliance Group, recently earned a certified industrial hygienist certification through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Core Compliance Group, 22420 Perry Highway, Zelienople, provides safety and environmental consulting services.
ESB Bank gains 2 recognitions
ELLWOOD CITY — SNL Financial has recognized ESB Bank as the seventh best performing public thrift in the country based on 2013 data. ESB has ranked in the top 10 each of the past four years. SNL collects and analyzes global financial data. The report was an evaluation of 100 U.S. institutions. ESB also was recognized May 28 as company of the year at the Moraine Trails Council Boy Scouts of America's Lawrence County Good Scout Reception. ESB Bank has 23 offices in Western Pennsylvania including three in Butler County.
