Court defendant caught after breaking window, fleeing

A Butler County court defendant who had a problem with his proposed sentencing plan displayed his displeasure late this morning by punching out a window in a door to the jury assembly room in the government center.
Sheriff’s deputies apprehended the man, who cut his hand, after he fled the floor.
Eyewitnesses said the man was leaving the room when he punched out the window from the inside, cursing about the terms of the offer.
The defendant’s name was not immediately available.
