Theocratic bully

The circus is currently performing in and around Pennsylvania, but those who like bizarre acts with a ringmaster can always visit Harrisburg to sit in on a session of the General Assembly. A freak show is never far away.
The latest occurred when self-appointed potentate and moral arbiter, Butler County’s own state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, ruled Philadelphia Democratic member Michael O’Brien out of order for attempting to speak at Metcalfe’s ideology-motivated impeachment hearing against Attorney General Kathleen Kane. Metcalfe ordered security to remove the offending member, asserting that he had the authority to do so from House Speaker Sam Smith — whose silence in the matter is deafening. Instead of standing by during the ugly spectacle of a member being forcibly removed from the Chamber, all of the Democrats walked out, Rep. O’Brien appropriately telling Metcalfe that he can have his “kangaroo court.”
Metcalfe recently refused to allow an openly gay member to speak, anticipating that he would argue in favor of gay marriage, which is something antithetical to Metcalfe’s purported deep Christian sensibilities.
Who is more deserving of impeachment: an Attorney General who has acted with the admiration and respect of reasonable people; or a fanatical legislative “leader” who seeks to impose a theocracy as he shouts down anyone who is not in sync with his dogma?
