As this is National Nurses Week, I wish to take a moment to thank each and every nurse, aide, assistant and person who takes care of our loved ones.

I wish to mention the wonderful group of caring, professional health care workers at New Haven Court at Clearview. I never wonder or worry about the care my mother receives there. These folks love their jobs, truly care about their patients and cannot do enough for each resident. No job goes undone, no resident is ever a problem, everything is done with care, consideration and diligence.

I must commend the excellent nurses, aides and staff at Butler Memorial Hospital. Each patient is considered top priority. The nurses know their patients’ health concerns, likes and dislikes, and they are always willing to work with family members to aid in their patients’ best interests.
