On March 24, a very special event took place at the Clearview Mall. Students and staff from Master Connell’s ATA Taekwondo School participated in a kick-a-thon. They raised more than $5,000 for the American Cancer Society. The children performed 13,399 kicks and students and staff broke 70 wooden boards.

I would like to thank the staff for a wonderful evening and the children for their dedication. There were mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and grandfathers, and even great-grandparents who came to see Butler County children do something wonderful and worthwhile.
