Route 68 overused

I drive state Route 68 between Evans City and Butler several times a week, and this two-lane rural highway was not designed to handle the traffic it carries each day. The intersection at Eagle Mill and Kriess roads should be at the top of the list of improvements. Maybe a month’s work installing two turning lanes could save lives.
But in the long run, the entire stretch is in bad need of a center turning lane. All it takes is one car to stop to make a left-hand turn into his driveway or a parking lot, and a dozen cars behind it must stop, too.
