CEO of Pgh. North Regional Chamber resigns

WEXFORD — The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber announced today that Rebecca Martin, president and CEO, has resigned from her position effective Tuesday.
“The chamber is thankful for all of her hard work and dedication to the membership and wishes her the best in her future endeavors,” according to a press release.
She replaced Susan Balla, who left the chamber in February 2013.
Martin started at the chamber Feb. 1, 2013. Before that, she was senior vice president of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce for nearly three years. She was chosen after a national search of more than 180 candidates.
Martin, a Pennsylvania native, has a bachelor’s degree in English from Mercyhurst College and a master’s degree in English from Gannon University.
