Helpful veterinarian

At 9:15 p.m. March 11, our dog, Rosie, was struck by a car in front of our house. We called Butler Veterinary Associates and rushed her there. They were waiting for us when we arrived and came out to meet us in the parking lot to rush her inside.

Dr. Paige Vernasco and the staff took very good care of Rosie — and us — during this traumatic time. They sent us home at 11 p.m. and there wasn’t much change in her condition. At 12:15 a.m. they called and said that she took a turn for the worse, and they would have to do surgery.

At 12:45 a.m., they called back to see if we would like to spend some time with her. We went back to the Butler Veterinary Associates. They let us in after hours to spend time with Rosie.

Needless to say, Rosie didn’t pull through, but I would like to publicly thank the staff at Butler Veterinary Associates for caring for us in this time of grief. Thank you so much from my wife and me for your effort and caring in our time of need.
