The Butler County Commissioners say they might not have to raise the property tax rate due to the budget being balanced for 2014, but they would have to go over their figures first. That tells me raising property tax is the normal procedure for them anytime there is a deficit.

The first people they go after for more revenue are the property owners. Just how many more property tax increases are we able to afford year after year after year? Quit taxing the homeowners.

People are losing their homes because they can’t afford to pay the taxes.

We need an independent company to audit the corruption in this county and to oversee the funds that are being paid by homeowners. These repeated property tax increases year after year are a crime. There will never be a day in politics when these criminals will ever say they are in the black and don’t need our tax money. They will always find a way to squander it away rather than let us keep our money.

The people need to stand up and start speaking out. Governments were formed to be the voice of the people. But now, governments no longer care about the people, but instead rule the people.

Wake up people. Your home just might be the next one up for sheriff’s sale if we keep allowing these folks to tax you out of your home.
