Neighbor charged in slaying of sisters in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police today charged a neighbor with killing two sisters during a break-in and robbery at their home last month.
Police have yet to arrest 43-year-old Allen Darell Wade, who they say has vacated his residence since he was questioned in the slayings of 44-year-old Susan Wolf and her sister, 38-year-old Sarah Wolfe.
Their bodies were found Feb. 7, and Wade had been questioned and released late last month before police filed charges today including criminal homicide, burglary and robbery against him.
Police say Wade is considered armed and dangerous.
Police didn’t immediately say how they linked Wade to the killings of the sisters of Mary Wolfe, a state representative from Clinton, Iowa. But investigators were known to be conducting DNA tests on items taken from the scene.
