Jessica Nebel and Steven Ayer

A May 3 wedding is being planned by Jessica Nebel and Steven Ayer, both of State College, Pa.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Denise Nebel of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ken and Joan Ayer of Chantilly, Va.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

She is employed by PNC Bank in State College.

Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Hershey High School. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2008 and received a doctoral degree in 2013.

He is employed by Penn State in State College.
