David Rice and Marion Eckenroad

A June 14 wedding is being planned by Marion Eckenroad and David Rice, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dan Haynes of New Castle and the late Ellen Eckenroad. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Rick Rice of Butler and Sherry Rice of Slippery Rock.

The future bride is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School. She received a certificate in medical coding from Butler County Community College in 2011.

She is employed by Bowden Family Chiropractic in Butler.

Her fiance graduated in 2005 from Butler High School. In 2010, he received a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Slippery Rock University.

He is a shift supervisor at Sheetz in Butler.
