Book drive helps kids

A sincere thank-you to customers of the Books-A-Million at the Clearview Mall who participated in the holiday book and toy drive.
When asked by the employes, “Would you like to make an additional purchase for a child who attends Butler County Children's Center?” many generous customers willingly added another book to their pile.
Books-A-Million's Holiday Book and Toy Drive assists local charities. This year, five large boxes of books were donated to the Books for Kids project at Butler County Children's Center Inc.
A committee of Children's Center staff and parents set of goal of providing books for the children to take home three times a year.
Butler County Children's Center is a private, nonprofit United Way member agency that provides child care, Head Start, Early Head Start and Pre-K Counts services throughout Butler County.
