WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Officials at Purdue University in Indiana say there is no ongoing threat on campus after a shooting was reported in a classroom building.
The university posted a note that people could resume normal activities on the campus.
Purdue spokesman Greg McClure told The Associated Press police haven’t released information about possible injuries. The report of shots fired came in around noon today at the electrical engineering building on the school’s campus.
McClure says police have a person in custody but no details are available.
