CTAA registration available now

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Township Athletic Association will hold online registration through Jan. 31 for its spring baseball and softball seasons.

Walk-in registration is available from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building.

Hoops teams seeking players

CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Township Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for its boys and girls basketball leagues.

Ages eligible are 5-13. Resident and non-resident youths are welcome. League play begins in mid-January.

Baseball Systems sets dates

CRANBERRY TWP — Baseball Systems will be holding a college placement seminar from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Cranberry Township Library.

A high school pitchers' boot camp is also upcoming. Space is limited.

Free sports clinic at SRU next month

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University will welcome girls ages 5-12 for free sports clinics, lunch and autograph sessions with SRU female student-athletes Feb. 8 as part of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Morrow Field House and concludes with free admission to The Rock men’s-women’s basketball doubleheader at 1 p.m.
