Help provide hope

Angel Tree, a prison ministry, asks churches and community groups to help spread the gospel of Christmas and Jesus Christ by providing Christmas gifts to the children of people in prison.

Participating prison chaplains invite inmates to register their children with Angel Tree. Angel Tree forwards the names to local churches and other participants, who buy items specific for each registered child. Angel Tree volunteers then forward the Christmas gifts along with uplifting Christian messages of hope and faith.

Local participating congregations include Family Life Church of God of Prophecy, 932 Mercer Road, Butler, PA, 16001, where I am the Angel Tree coordinator. We have committed to helping 18 children, but there are currently 28 registered children in Butler County, and we are seeking help to provide for all of them.

Anyone who can help may call me at 724-968-2018 or the church office at 724-287-1336.
