Time Capsule

A TOUCH OF THE OLD FASHIONED — St. Paul Roman Catholic Church's float, St. Paul's Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival, won the prize for being the best overall float in the Spirit of Christmas Parade on Nov. 27, 1981. More than 30 units took part in the annual event.

SANTA’S ELVES DANCE — Butler High School cheerleaders, clad in elf costumes, did an impromptu dance as they distributed candy to youngsters Nov. 25, 1988, along the Spirit of Christmas Parade route down Main Street in Butler.
