Butler County doesn’t need to be in the health care business.

Sunnyview is costing the county taxpayers millions that could be spent elsewhere and maybe even reduce the taxes being paid now.

I heard some politician call it a tradition as if that’s an excuse to keep it. That’s really not a reason to keep it.

Another reason for the county to get out of the nursing home business is the union, SEIU. Politicians don’t need to be negotiating contracts with a union the gives millions to a political party.
