As in 2012, county Commissioner James Eckstein again has shown his disrespect for the veterans of Butler County by handing out political information during the Veterans Day parade.

This parade is to honor those who have served in the military, and nothing else.

There is a time and place for everything, and the Veterans Day parade is not the time or place to be handing out information about Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

I urge Mr. Eckstein to find a better time and place to hand out his information.
