Lindsey Shaffer and Brad Spang, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Sept. 1 in an outdoor ceremony at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg. Pastor Rockwell Dillaman of Allegheny Center Alliance Church officiated. A reception followed at Lingrow Farm.
The bride is the daughter of Jay and Lynn Shaffer of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Jay and Ginger Spang of North Huntingdon.
The honor attendant was Maureen Hill of West Lebanon, N.H. Bridesmaids included Leanne Shaffer of Sewickley and Gretchen McMullen of Greensburg.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Spang of Olympia, Wash. Ushers included Bradley Shaffer of Sewickley and Jeff Grace of Philadelphia.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
She is employed in marketing for RDX in Wexford.
The bridegroom graduated from Serra Catholic High School in 2001 and from Pennsylvania State University in 2005.
He is employed in marketing for American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua in the Caribbean, the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
