Savanna Johnson and Bruce Cornibe, both of Virginia Beach, Va., were united in marriage Aug. 3 at Harbison Chapel at Grove City College. Messianic Rabbi Dr. Joseph Rosenfarb of Norfolk, Va., officiated. A reception followed at the Day’s Inn in Butler. The bride is the daughter of the Rev. DorotheLee and Michael Withers of Nashville, Tenn., and Marijo and Gordan Johnson of Scottsdale, Ariz. Parents of the bridegroom are Kenneth and Connie Cornibe of Butler. The honor attendant was April Branscum of Nashville. Bridesmaids included Ashley Rentfro of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Dyteya Lewis of Virginia Beach, Hillary Marcellino of Hartsville, Tenn., and Jenna Cornibe of Mechanicsburg, Pa. The flower girl was Gemma Branscum of Nashville. Performing the duties of best man was Travis Croft of Mechanicsburg. Ushers included Seth Elder of Parker, Ben Landin of Zelienople, Jordan Marcellino of Hartsville and Ryan Edmiston of Butler. The ring bearer was Erikson Branscum of Nashville. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Gateway Christian Schools. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and political science. She will graduate in December with a master’s degree in government from Regent University in Virginia Beach. The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2004. He graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2008. He received his master’s degree in government in May from Regent University in Virginia Beach. Following a honeymoon trip to Paris, the couple is making their home in Virginia Beach.
