CRANBERRY TWP — Traffic changes begin today from the Interstate 79 southbound connector to Route 228 as part of the I-79/SR 228 ramps project.

A portion of the southbound I-79 ramp will be closed to rebuild a section of pavement, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Motorists traveling from I-79 South to Route 228 to Route 19 will have to make a right turn at the light at the end of the ramp.

Truck drivers are urged to get off I-79 South at the Evans City exit, Exit 85, and take Route 19 South to Cranberry to avoid the right turn at the light on to Routes 228 and 19
