McLafferty, Heckrote
An Aug. 9 wedding is being planned by Maureen McLafferty and Richard Heckrote, both of Alexandria, Va.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Jean McLafferty of Meridian. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Roger and Rose Heckrote of Liberty, Pa., and Pamela and Harold Lyons of Picture Rocks, Pa.
The future bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and received her bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Penn State. She received a master’s degree in education from Slippery Rock University.
She is employed by Charles County Public Schools in Waldorf, Md.
Her fiance graduated in 2002 from Liberty High School and in 2006 he received his bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University.
He also is employed by Charles County Public Schools in Waldorf.
