Amazing generosity

On Oct. 12, twenty motivated Marines, associates and Army volunteers met for a breakfast at King’s Restaurant to kick off the Marine Corps Reserve 2013 Toys For Tots Christmas efforts to make sure that no deserving child in Butler County has a Christmas without a toy.
To our surprise, when we went to pay the bill for our breakfast, we were told that the tab had already been paid by an anonymous kind woman.
It’s through the efforts of this kind of people in the county that this miracle happens each year at Christmas.
To that lady, please accept our heartfelt thanks for what you did to add to our motivation that no child in Butler County go through Christmas without a toy. Allow us to invite you, if you so wish, to assist us in this year’s efforts as we do the many things that make this happen. You will not regret the feeling of accomplishment and Christmas spirit that accompanies the success of your efforts.
