Have you heard hide or hair of District Attorney Richard A. Goldingers’s protocol for addressing animal abuse cases in Butler County? Have you heard anything on the committee being formed?

I still have no response to the letter I sent to the DA offering to be on his committee and it’s been months.

The weather is changing, and when one calls 911 they are referred to an Animal Abuse Hotline that tells you to call 911 if an animal is in distress, and they cannot even tell you whom to call for assistance.

I tried to find an official to follow up on some animals in poor condition and it took nine phone calls and more than four hours for the correct person to be found.

Please tell the district attorney that this issue needs to be addressed immediately.
