When we awoke that morning

Little did we know

That God assigned His angels

To come and take you home.

We stood outside as you remarked of the beauty of that day

For the sunrays were amazing

In an extraordinary way.

You went to rest your body

To relieve it of its pain

The angels had arrived and they were calling out your name.

We feel you’re always near us

In a very special way

For we feel your loving presence

Each and every day
