William Grandy and Andrea Karenbauer

A spring wedding is being planned by Andrea Karenbauer and William Grandy, both of Springfield, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin and Pamela Karenbauer of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are William and Phan Grandy of Front Royal, Va.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2003 graduate of Allegheny College. She received her master’s degree from Georgetown University in 2008.

She is employed by the federal government.

Her fiance graduated in 1998 from Woodbridge High School and in 2002 from George Mason University.

He is the director of historical swordsmanship at the Virginia Academy of Fencing.
