Franek, Porter
Amy Franek and James Porter, both of Conroe, Texas, were united in marriage June 1 at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Matthew McClain and the Rev. Raphael Glinkowski officiated. A reception followed at the St. Wendelin Hall.
The bride is the daughter of James Franek of Butler and Marilyn Gust of Christiansburg, Va. Parents of the bridegroom are Barry and Karen Porter of Fenelton.
The honor attendant was Catherine Stahler of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Marshall of Allison Park and Mollie Luginski of York, Pa.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Porter of Fenelton. Ushers included James Franek of Butler and Eric Porter of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School, a 2008 graduate of St. Vincent College and a 2012 graduate of Duquesne University.
She is employed by the Huntsville Independent School District in Huntsville, Texas.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2004, St. Vincent College in 2008 and Villanova University in 2011.
He is employed by Sullexis in The Woodlands, Texas.
Following a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World, the couple is making their home in Conroe, Texas.
