Carolyn Matlock and Greg Painter

An Aug. 30, 2014, wedding is being planned by Carolyn Matlock of Olympia, Wash., and Greg Painter of Seattle.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Beth and Michael Matlock of Olympia. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Janet Painter of Butler and Ronald Painter of Silver Spring, Md.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Olympia High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona.

She is a teacher and veterinary technician at Maple Leaf Pet Corner in Seattle.

Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from the University of Colorado.

He is a registered nurse at Bailey Boushay House.
