Three injured in 2-vehicle crash near Harmony

JACKSON TWP — Several people were taken to Pittsburgh hospitals after a serious accident Friday afternoon along Route 68 near Harmony.
The accident occurred just after noon today when a silver sedan driven by an elderly woman traveling eastbound crossed the center line and hit a westbound truck near Edmond Street.
Both drivers, as well as another elderly passenger in the sedan, were taken to area hospitals.
Jackson Township officer Chris McGee on Friday couldn’t provide more information pending notification of relatives of the victims.
