Not so fast

Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Our laws include the belief that we are innocent until proven guilty.

I am my brother’s keeper (Genesis). Do unto to others, as you would have them do unto you (Matthew 7:12). Are these just platitudes? Should the United States stick its nose into the problems of Syria?

In Iraq and Afghanistan over the past 10 years, indigenous people we were there to protect and work with, maliciously misled us. We were given information in which our troops and drone program were used to kill rivals, enemies.

Did our NSA and CIA knowingly approve and encourage this? Are we repeating this mistake in Syria? Are we being used as pawns by others?

Yes, children and adults were killed; this is a fact and truth. Sarin gas was used; this is a fact and truth.

Did President Bahsar al-Assad authorize the use of sarin gas, unknown. Did Assad authorize his subordinates to use gas, unknown.

How can we be a creditable brother’s keeper if we attack, kill and maim the wrong people?
