Who would have thought the demise of our Constitution would be brought about by the government taking on a rodeo clown, wearing a mask to look like President Barack Obama?

Freedom of speech for all of us just went down the drain. Who or what next will it be? Our guns or our right to trial by a jury of our peers?

Do people not know the Constitution was written in a way to protect the citizens from a heavy-handed government, not to protect the government from the people.

If this man is not able to continue as a rodeo clown or loses his regular job over a joke — yes, a joke about a president, who is not and should not be thought of as better than any other citizen of the United States — then our country, as we know it, is gone.

The investigation called for (by the NAACP) should be investigating the people demanding the investigation, not the rodeo clown.
