Kylee Rankin and Justin Smith

An Oct. 5 wedding is being planned by Kylee Rankin of Karns City and Justin Smith of Petrolia.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary and Tracy Rankin of Karns City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jeff and Carisa Smith of Petrolia.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Karns City High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Slippery Rock University in 2012.

She is employed by the Learning Village in Saxonburg.

Her fiance graduated in 2007 from Karns City High School and received an associate degree in electrical construction technology from the Community College of Allegheny College in 2013.

He is employed by Hey Electric.
