Adam Sparks and Samantha Shakely

An October 2014 wedding is being planned by Samantha Shakely of Butler and Adam Sparks of Washington, D.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Miriam Shakely of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Daniel and Sandra Sparks of Oil City.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School, and she will graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in December with a degree in art history and a degree in fine art.

Her fiance graduated in 2005 from Oil City High School and graduated in 2010 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in fine art and a degree in criminal justice.

He is a government employee in Washington, D.C.
