I am writing to thank the Butler Eagle and so many other businesses in Butler County that supported the first “Ride for the Homeless.” Businesses from every part of the county gave gift cards and items for prizes for the run.

I also want to thank all of those who did not ride, but came to the spaghetti dinner after the run and helped also with their support.

Another group deserving a big thank-you are all of those who volunteered their time to make the run possible. All of the funds will be used to house the homeless of Butler County and anyone else not having a place to get in from the cold this winter. This will be the third season for the Winter Relief Center. Anyone who would like to help volunteer at the center or who may need more information concerning should contact me at (724) 290-2384.
