Amanda and Shawn O'Leary

Amanda Black and Shawn O’Leary, both of Mardela Springs, Md., were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2012, at Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler. The Rev. Nathan Malavolti officiated. A reception followed at the Herman Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Brenda Black of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dan and Amy O’Leary of Butler.

The honor attendant was Julie Black of Butler. Bridesmaids included Sarah Black of Butler, Brittney Black of Fenelton, Emily Black of Fenelton and Courtney Barnhart of Fenelton.

Performing the duties of best man was Aaron O’Leary of Butler. Ushers included Daniel Corridori of Grove City, Matthew Cunningham of Butler, Justin Fortun of Murrysville, Pa., and Kevin Porneluzi of Butler.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of Saint Francis University.

She is employed by Salisbury Immediate Care and Injury Center in Salisbury, Md.

The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2003 and from Grove City College in 2007.

He is employed by the Delmarva Foundation in Easton, Md.

Following a honeymoon trip to New England, the couple is making their home in Mardela Springs, Md.
