Royal couple show off their baby to world

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, carries her newborn son, the Prince of Cambridge, who was born on Monday, into public view for the first time outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital today in London.

LONDON — Prince William and his wife, Kate, today showed their newborn son outside of a London hospital.

Crowds of onlookers gathered outside the St. Mary Hospital cheered the royal couple and baby.

Earlier Prince Charles paid a visit to his newborn grandson for the first time.

The child is third in line to the British throne.

Earlier today, Kate's parents — Michael and Carole Middleton — also paid a visit to their new grandchild.

Carole Middleton beamed and said the baby was “absolutely beautiful.”
