I’m writing again to complain about the city sending notices to homeowners of possible $300 fines for garbage on the homeowners’ properties.

Part of the problems is not the homeowner’s fault. It’s the current disposal company’s fault for failing very frequently in many places in the city to pick up the garbage on the scheduled day. Also, the disposal services’ truck drivers are often careless when they do pick up the garbage and some of it lands on the ground instead of it falling in the truck — and it’s left on the ground by the drivers. This happens all over the city.

It’s the disposal company that should be fined, not the homeowners.

I’ve had to call the disposal company numerous times about the garbage not being picked up on our property when it was scheduled to be picked up. I also complained to them about the carelessness of their drivers, to no avail.
