Writer too critical

I for one am tired of reading Dr. Amesh Adalja’s editorials that focus on what he perceives to be faults of the United States.
One of his letters, published June 11, states “It would be beneficial for Americans to purchase their food from farms located in other countries which do not require forcibly seized U.S. taxpayer wealth (subsidies) to sustain their viability.”
This idea, as well as other opinions stated by him, are not shared by many Americans that I know.
I also doubt that this idea would be supported by many, if any, hard-working farm families. I wonder if Adalja could even begin to understand the life of a farmer both financial and physical?
My suggestion to Adalja would be if things in this country are so bad, then airports have flights every day that can easily relocate him to a better place.
His ideas are not what this great country was founded on and I would suggest rather than just complaining, focus on positive improvement.
I doubt there are many countries, if any, that would allow him to express his negativity other than the Great U.S.A.
