2 fires break out Friday night



Two fires were reported Friday by 911.
In Jefferson Township, a home at 134 Keck Road was on fire shortly after 5 p.m. Friday. The fire destroyed the attic and roof of the home, officials said. The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department cleared the scene at 7:42 p.m.
Firefighters also responded to a garage fire in Cranberry Township at 109 Eden Way Court shortly after 5 p.m. Friday. The garage was attached to the home. Firefighters returned to the station at 7:06 p.m.
There were no injuries.
