QUESTION: Why did you become a teacher?
ANSWER: I have always loved working with children and wanted to motivate them to make a positive difference in their future.
QUESTION: What is one sentence that sums up what you believe is the key to teaching?
ANSWER: Approach every day with an open-mind, a lot of patience, a sense of humor, and the hope to have a positive impact on my students.
QUESTION: When you’re not teaching, you most likely can be found doing what?
ANSWER: I enjoy watching my girls dance, play soccer and swim. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
QUESTION: What is one thing about you that likely would surprise your students?
ANSWER: I originally wanted to be a physical education teacher but knew that we needed more women in the area of math.
